Shopping for a Motorhome

We had a great week of vacation last week and really enjoyed spending time with our sister Sue. We stayed on the go and it is a good thing we were real active, because we were constantly dining out! We sure do miss our sister. Cheryl has known her since birth, I was priviledged to meet her when she was 13 years old. The three of us went everywhere together, Cheryl's parents insisted!

Well we are back to work, the same ole grind. We are making time to research and shop for a motorhome though. We found a motorhome we like at Lazy Days in Florida (online of course).
There are a few features in this motorhome that we are not sure we like though. The "ushaped" dinette seems to be a bit much for just Cheryl and I, however would be very convenient when the grands are traveling with us. The white upholstery is scary for the same reason as the aforementioned grands. Also there is no place to put any recliners unless you remove the couch, thus losing a bed (also inconvenient because of the aforementioned grands. Other than that, we like this one:

Nice MH! I'm with you about the big dinette. Not necessarily very practical when it's just the 2 of you...

We're also in the process of shopping -- isn't it fun!

Good luck with your search.

Our new 5th Wheel has a u shaped dinnette, and so far we're liking it. I think you'll like it when the kiddoes are with you...truly a beautiful 'house!'

It looks very nice...and Lazy Days is a GREAT place to buy a motorhome! We just bought a new to us Diesel pusher there and couldn't have gotten better service from our salesman and delivery team!

We'll be at Lazy Days today. I can go look at the MH in person if you like and take some more pics. Let me know (email is on my profile). I can also give you the name of the great salesman we used. He was very knowledgeable and can work with you via e-mail to give you some prices. We were happy with him...not pushy, but knew a LOT about motorhomes.

I would seriously consider buying at Camping World. They are located all over the country when you need anything. Our salesman Peter in Syracuse knows his stuff and is not pushy, plus they have beaten the others prices whenever we looked elsewhere. Just another opinion. And buy a quality coach like a Winnebago which uses steel throughout instead of a Tiffin which uses wood.
